Monthly Catch Up: July
I’ve decided to start a new series on my blog called my Monthly Catch Up. As you can probably already tell from the name, it’s a series of once monthly posts that detail what’s been going on in my life, things I want to share, and just random babbling.
Besides sharing travel information and tips with you, the reader, I also want you to get to know me as an individual. I want to be more than just a semi-faceless entity that says stuff on the internet! Ask me questions! Let’s be friends and support each other as a community!
I started my student visa process but ran into some snags when it comes to taking out a student loan. I’m getting nervous about not getting it back in time but I’m trying my best not to think about it.
I’m also running into problems with the required documents I need and the application center not telling me what they want from me. It’s looking like I may not be going to grad school after all?
I was a bridesmaid at my college BFF’s wedding! She had been talking about this since college so it was so nice to finally see it all come to fruition.
I’ve made a blogging calendar and I’m very proud to say that I’ve stuck to it all July. It hasn’t been based on certain days (except my teaching posts every Sunday), but it has been consistent! New content, yay!
I’m engaged!!!!!! :)
July’s been a super busy month for me. I had some visitors to Hawaii in July (and have a few more in August) so expect a lot of Hawaii-centric posts coming up! There’s a lot of tourist things I haven’t done in a while so it’s nice to get a refresher on them.
Once this visa stuff gets sorted (hopefully that’s soon), I can start blogging more regularly again. Wish me luck, please…
